On Hiatus

Aurrora here. You may be wondering where I've disappeared to.

In 2024, I created the pen name Ash Henry and began writing short contemporary romance. It’s been a lot of fun—and yes, much more lucrative, which after 13 years as an author is a nice change. It's never really been about the money for me, but being able to pay bills has its perks.

What does this mean for Aurrora St. James?

Only a temporary hiatus, I hope. There are many stories still living inside me, and if you think Zeph will take a back seat for long... you'd be wrong. Eternal beings can be very impatient. 😅 In the meantime, if you love my protective heroes who will do anything for the woman they love, emotional (and spicy) stories, and happily ever afters... I'm still writing them--just in a short contemporary format. Think of it as all the best parts of a romance in 100 pages. You still get the intense connection and fiercely protective heroes—only now you can read it on your lunch break. I'd love it if you would give an Ash Henry book a try!
